The MoonBeam UltraLand Convention is an installation which incorporates video, performance, drawing and objects and was commissioned to engage with the alternative club night Rhythm Machine

Oppositions such as fiction and reality; sexuality and innocence; playfulness and seriousness; and vivid colour and total darkness are constantly at play in The MoonBeam UltraLand Convention- the work utilizes the fantasy world of MoonBeam UltraLand as a vessel to explore ideas of advertising, mass production and consumption, character, and narrative in relation to a contemporary depiction of femininity in popular culture.

Music: March from Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary, Henry Purcell / Just A Girl, No Doubt / Countdown, Beyoncé / Grown Woman, Beyoncé

The MoonBeam UltraLand Convention was commissioned by Rhythm Machineas part of the Edinburgh Festival Programme 2017.
